How to Install Paper Faced Glass Mosaic Tile

Thanks to Kaelin of the Better Homes and Gardens Magazine's "Better Blog"
Here are step by step instructions with photos.
She took a weekend tiling class at Home Depot, and then installed our Brio Marrakesh glass mosaic tile blend in just one weekend.
Read all about it in her Better Blog Entry: "My $500 Weekend Kitchen Makeover":

Yep, that's right a kitchen makeover in a weekend. New countertops, backsplash, sink, faucet and window treatment instantly transformed my kitchen into a chic cooking space. Here is a step-by-step of my favorite part, my new backsplash.

1. Here, my friend Rachel spread on the mortar.

2. Then it was time to lay in the tile. The first piece is the most important piece because everything has to align with it.

3. Wet and peel off the paper backing to reveal the beautiful tile.

4. We let the tile sit over night then Saturday we started to grout.

5. While we let the grout sit for 4 hours we ran some errands and then scrubbed it off to reveal the amazing tile. We got the tile from my favorite online tile vendor, modwalls.com.

6. The finished look! Sunday, I whipped up the window treatments to add the finishing touches to the room.
